 This may be a problem with AVG, but it is worth checking your options settings for a start. Ensure your speed setting is correct for your connection type and then place the cursor in the uploads options at around 60-70 % and that you are only uploading to a few hosts. It is hard to specify what exact settings you should use without some details of your equipment and connection type and speed, but this may help to begin with
