![]() I use Limewire Pro 4.12.6 I connect to the interent via a router (Netgear DG834GT.. but also use a 54mbps wireless ****** to access the internet) I have a broadband connection When i open limewire it recieves a turbo charged connection. I have no firewalls installed,so therfore i guess the only 1 acting is windows. I am using Windows XP Home Edition. Tried the test page suggested and recieve the answer 'Your test worked!' This is my first try with limewire. I also have the latest version of Java. Im connecting from home. My isp is talk talk . The connection is not shared And i see the brickwall infront of the globe at the bottom of the limewire page. I have 512mb of ram and well over 70gb of hard disk space available. Please please please could someone try and help me im really frustrated by this, and have a decent understanding of how to configure firewalls etc.. but just cant work out what is stopping it from connecting properly. Although i recieve a turbo connection it only downloads at 2kbps if it downloads anything at all . PLEASE HELP |
