every time i download a file, a folder named "incomplete" is created on my desktop. the file isnt downloaded there, its downloaded into my desired folder. but i have to wait until it finishes downloading before i can delete the folder, which means it is active during download. if i delete the folder and download again, the folder is created again. what can i do?

In LW tools > options > saving will show you the location of your saved folder. By default the incomplete folder is in the same location. If your location for saving is desktop, you can change that.
By default, the location for saving is C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Shared.

You should "not" choose your desktop as your download location for security reasons. Instead, choose the default or other partition/HDD.

If fast access to your downloads is what you want then ... For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you.

You can also create a shortcut to your downld folder & send it to the desktop. But DON'T make your desktop your downld folder!!!!!!!
