You're about the 3rd member to post a similar issue in the past week. It seems it's a windows issue. I'm not sure the reason. Within LW, go to menu bar, Tools>Options>iTunes>Sharing & disable sharing options. See if this helps. Also disable sharing within iTunes. Go to iTunes menu bar, Edit menu, Preferences, Sharing & disable.

iTunes 7 is running on my pc right now. And it plays limewire and frostwire songs great. In fact I just downloaded a song from limewire right now and it's playing in iTunes right now. I have Windows XP. Also iTunes won't run if quicktime is not installed on your computer.

No problems with iTunes 7 for me. OSX 10.4, QT Pro 7. Did you do a safe boot & repair permissions OAH. It might make the difference. Else repair from startup disk.
