Allright, it seems to not want to download anything. When I search it comes up with the list, but all the files are red and will not download. How might I fix this? And no I am not behind a firewall.

AFAIK, if search results show in red, it means that the host is firewalled. Sometimes users can push through firewalls to download but sometimes not.
Are all your results showing in red? It would be pretty strange if they were (in over 2 years, I've never seen a red search result). Try searching for a popular file & see if you still see red results.

If all search results are always red, all I can think of to try is deleting your LW preferences folder when LW's closed. See points 2 & 3 below

If it's only the one file that's giving these results, try searching again later. As users in other time zones log on, new files will become available & you might get lucky.
Otherwise, someone else here might have a few more clues

i downloaded 4.12 3 times
everything is fine searches great but when i go to download nothing happens does not give the download box until i use my arrows to bring it up helppppppppp

I'm having the same problem. I have been using Limewire for over a year, and have never had this problem. Everything searches fine, but when I try to download nothing happens. I have tried double clicking the file, and clicking on the file and then the download button still nothing. I thought maybe it was the version of limewire I was using, so I upgraded to 4.12.6 and still having the same problem. I am using a Windows XP, SP2 machine, with a DSL connection from home. People are uploading my shared files just fine, I just can't download.

Can anyone help?
