DOWLOADing Music
 

When I search for music I usually find what I want. the problem is downloading. It always says "finding sources" I click the button but it comes back all the time and I never get to download. In addition, I always see "connecting" it stays like this for hours and I never get to download. I am new here please explain what I am doing wrong. I apprewciate the help. Thanks

You're prolly trying to d/l fake/spam files. Vary your search. Use the all files search as well as the audio search. Use key words from the title instead of the whole thing. Try searching by the artists name or part of the name. Try to d/l files with the least amount of sources and a moden connection speed.

There are a lot of fake files out there and you have to weed them out. More info in this thread: How to find music :).

The same thing is happening to me, except it says, connecting, for almost a minute, and then it says, Need More Sources, then I click Find Sources, and it says Waiting For Stable Connection. I am so frustrated right now with this! I FINALLY got Limewire to get a connection, now I can't even download any songs yet!!! And it use to work just fine when I had previous versions of it. :bangh:

Okay, but, I have done all of that, and it still will not let me download. I typed in the song I wanted to download in All Types, and it gave me about ten or more different files of that song, but when I clicked "download", it said connecting, then it said Need More Sources, so I clicked on a few more, then it finally said downloading, but then it stopped right in the middle of it and said, Need More Sources.
Then, I tried that MagnetMix link, tried to download from that, and it said Need More Sources.
Then I did that License Problem advice, well, after I did that, it kicked my connection off completely.
I just am having a hard time understanding why I have been able to download songs from Limewire just fine up until recently. Nothing on my system has changed, I have downloaded what I needed, and it is getting me nowhere. :(

Somehow I don't think you read the 2nd link very well. Too impatient perhaps. Did you try browsing host? That can sometimes restart a stopped download. Did you re-search the topic.
