Where can I find the "discribe function"? I am looking in LW Library and I cant find it. :bangh:

Go to your library, click on the song you are wanting (right click on it) and you will see describe in thelist of things to do. Does that help? I have no idea what this does and I have the same problem you do. I cant get mystuff to play in windows media player either.

I think what LOTR is saying is this: if you have used the describe function in LW, you will no longer be able to play the files in WMP...his comment re: moving files out of the download folder means this: WMP does NOT store your songs...it only stores the location of those songs, so if you move the song WMP no longer knows where it is, and hence cannot play it...

the simplistic way of dealing with your music is to go directly to your downloads folder and play them directly by double clicking on them

which you go under my computer and pul up your c drive or what ever your drive is for your ENTIRE computer, and then click documents and settings and then click _______owner (mine is compaq owner, yours maybe kate owner or something) an dthen click shared. All your music will pop up and you can play them from there WHICH should in return play them in the WM player!

@katie_ryn26: skipping all of the above, once you find your downloads folder (and before you enter it) right click on it, and choose make shortcut...then move this shortcut to your desktop, and from now on when you want to play some stuff, just double click on the icon on the desktop, and you will go directly to your downloads folder...it is beyond me why LimeWire has as of yet to make such a feature in their installer (with a nice little LW logo), I mean BearShare has been doing this forever...
