LW and Window Media Player

I have changed my setting to have all of my music played with Windows Media Player and I spent a little while the other night downloading songs and saving and playing them in Windows and after I was finished, I attempted to play a song I had downloaded first and the song(and about 30 after it on the list) became orangish/red with a big ! next to it in Windows and wouldn't play it causing my to delete them all. Does anyone know why it is doing that or how to make it stop???
Cheers,
Katie

Did you use the Describe function in LW on these songs?

Oh right, I'm sorry. I changed the settings on LW under the player section. I unclicked the box so that it uses your defult player which mine is Windows. Does that help at all??? I don't like to use the Limewire one, that is why I choose to use the Windows one.

I don't know what that means. Sorry. I get really lost with all of this downloading stuff. Basically, I am using Windows so that I can burn CD's. I chose to change my player on LW to use my defult player (Windows) instead of LW player for that reason. That way while I play the sing on there, I can add the song to my Library under my music! Does that help at all???

Did you move any of the songs out of the (LimeWire) LW download folder? If yes, that's why you're getting errors in WMP.

The Describe function is found in the LW Library window. It should not be used if you're adding songs to the WMP playlist.

I'll try that when I get home as I am at work right now. Thank you so much for all of the help you have been giving me!!! It really helps me out so much and I really do appreciate it. I wish that I knew more about this stuff. I'll let you know how it goes when I get home!
Cheers,
Katie:)
