Exclamation I think limewire destroyed my Mp3 player.

Not exactly, but I still need help here.
All of the songs I downloaded off of limewire suddenly dissappeared off of my player. And now I can't put any of them back on. All the other songs are there, fine and dandy. I think maybe I accidently downloaded a virus or something. Does anyone know what I should try to do? I don't know if it's limewire, or my mp3 player, or both that have the problems, because I can't get my player to connect to the computer anymore, or download new songs on limewire.

Quite effective title

Sounds like something malicious since both limewire and UPnP got effected by it. Most mp3 players use UPnP to connect, and so does Limewire using certain settings.

Try scanning for viruses and spyware. You just might have downloaded something. I don't really know what settings have been changed but something having to do with UPnP is a good bet.

make and model of player???? ... Computer operating system????...

have you scanned your computer for viruses? Perhaps your player needs reformating. This will be in the players instructions. but that might lose all your songs on the player .....

Have you reboodted the computer ..that may well help

I like the thread title and your username ... you certainly know how to pull a crowd lol
