Limewire sharing files not specified as shared
I've been having a problem with Limewire sharing files that I've specifically asked it not to upload. Here are the things I've attempted:
1) I modified the defaults to not share files with certain extensions, and I still found that those files were being uploaded to other users. 2) Then, I tried going into "options" and telling Limewire not to share the folder in which the files were located. I restarted Limewire, and it continued to share the files. 3) After this, I went back to "options" and disabled the "share completed downloads" option, and the problem still wasn't fixed. 4) Finally, I went to "monitor" and killed all the uploads, but they just reappeared. Has anyone had a similar problem, or do you know of a possible reason for this? I'm really concerned about the fact that Limewire continues to share files in folders that aren't on the "shared" list. Which version of LW are you using? I believe in the beta 4.13 some have reported a similar problem. Which would be a bug.
