K, so I'm having trouble downloading files.

The twist is that basically every file will download, EXCEPT when I try and download some more songs of a specific artist. The program REFUSES to download the files, no matter how many sources i find.

I have no idea what the problem is, so now I'm asking for help.

Also, turning off the firewall appears to have no effect.

Do the songs sit connecting for ages & then need more sources? If that's what's going on, sounds like fake files.
Try searching for just the album, or just the artist. Go for a file with less than 10 sources & even try modem sources. Have a look through the stickies below for more info & tips

Hm, I tried your suggestions, and everything in the links you gave me (and the links in the links and the links in those and so forth) but it only gave me 2 more files than before. And neither being the ones i specifically wanted. :S

If the songs you're looking for are new, there's a chance that most of what you'll find are fake files. It comes down to being patient in that case...keep searching at different times of day. As people are always logging on & off, what's being shared is changing & sometimes it's not until people in other time zones are online that you find what you're looking for.
