Got through the banking bit, paid the fee but haven't received anything to enable us to join.......what do we do?????:

Just to clarify, did you buy LW Pro (basic is free) from www.limewire.com ?
If you bought from the official site ($18.88), you should recieve an email with a link to your Pro personal download page...you can download Pro from there.
Can you just confirm that you bought from the official site? Then we can help you a bit more

We went on the official limewire site and paid for the £0.99 per month for 24 months service. So far we've had nothing back. The actual amount that went out of the bank was more than this...maybe we asked for additional services???

You might've been redirected to the real LW site for download?? but who did you pay?? You've been scammed. There's no 24 month membership & no payment per month. You should contact your bank/CC company & report this. They may be able to cancel the transaction for you & will let you know if you should cancel your card.
