Upgrade/ Membership Problem
I keep getting the upgrade limewire to the newest version pop up. i tryed to upgrade but i keep getting a messege saying my e-mail adress is invalid. i've registered, and i only bought limewire 2 months ago. i can't even get into the support area because my e-mail is invalid. anybody have any ideas?

Could you please give us some info on where you purchased limewire from and how much you paid for it...We need to check this info first...

i found it through google and my checkbook register says $33.00 on 11-30-06

oh...I think you may have purchased from a scam site as limewire Pro is only $18.88US and Basic is free...You can also only purchase it from the official site http://www.limewire.com...
Can you remember the sites name, is it on your bank statement....

If it were a scam site would I still have axcess to the members area? and i've downloaded all kinds of things without a problem. I wasn't able to locate my statement.

There's no members area...You sound like you only have the basic version if you keep getting pop ups to upgrade to Pro...What version of Limewire do you have...
What these scam sites do, they charge you for the basic version of limewire and it's free...

i think i purchased more than just the lime wire. there was also spyware and pop up killers, a cd burning program, a dvd player/burner, and something called exeemlite.
