Trying to move my limewire files to new pc

Hi there all, I am trying to transfer my files to a new laptop I just got, please tell me how to do this and if it involves saving it to a disk please tell me how to do this step by step as I have tried but to no avail, thanks in advance for your help!! I just have way too many files to look for again lol

Reinstall LW on the new computer. Then replace the incomplete folder with the entire incomplete folder from the old computer. BUT this must only be done whilst LW is CLOSED else you will lose your incompletes. When I said move the entire incomplete folder, I mean everything inside it which includes the download.dat & .bak files.

how do I move the files save them to disk? and if so how do I save them to disk? Im sorry either its the blonde hair dye or IM not getting it lol, I tried copying all the files by using ctrl a and ctrl c but then when I go to paste there is nothing there, my screen name on yahoo im is sgtandreswifey if you can ever walk me through thanks a ton!!
