Has anyone ever noticed on the FREE, latest version of Limewire that you will often search for a song, find hundreds of sources, but then not be able to download it?

I keep having this problem. The message keeps saying "Needs more Sources".

Why would i need more sources when Limewire has apparently found hundreds of sources?

Magneto - I have been experiencing the same thing with one artist in particular. I have attempted to download ANY title by ******. Despite seeing a number of sources, and also seeing that others are currently downloading the tracks I have selected, I still get the message "need more sources". I did search the forum for advice prior to posting this message, and did read the info Lord of the Rings posted.
Lord of the Rings - I literally cannot download any title from this artist ever. I guess this would mean that all of these files are fake? is that what I am left to assume?

Not necessarily. Did you check How to find music. Try varying your search. Not just artist, how about songs or albums. See if you can browse host. If not, they may be fake but then browsing is not a reliable tool.

Thanks for the response. I have generally searched in varing ways - use the artist name with no song title, or just search the particular song. This has been quite a reliable way of finding what I am after. I have really only had issue with this one artist.
After reading the forum you gave me the link for, I searched only with the artists first name and managed to find one downloadable song - of course it is not one of the songs I am after but it is a start.
