Question How to upload movies?

I have some very nice movies on dvd; I ripped them to my computer and now I have several vob-files that I apparantly cannot share on limewire. I read something about codecs, avi and mpeg and I downloaded severall programs to change vob to mpeg or avi but I did not succeed. Isn't it possible just to pack these files per movie and place the packed file in the shared folder? I tried with Winzip but the files did not work in the limewire library. I really don't understand anything of it. Who can help me in a for dummies understandable language?
Thanks!

Some people do put their movies in .zip/.rar format, although a lot of us are leary of downloading those types of files. They very often contain viruses, etc. You will probably attract more interest if you convert your files to DivX or XviD format.

Hope this helps

Dano

This time you need a file joiner..
This one while join the VOB files and then you could convert the one file with Super...

These ones can join AVI's ect...Just do a AV and spyware scan before you run the app, I had to goggle this one...

Thanks! Super works great! It is indeed quite easy to use. So now I have instead of 6 vob-files per movie, 4 avi files. Will it be possible to put the whole movie in just 1 file? If yes, how do I do that?
Will you help me again?
