ok , i have downloaded alot of stuff and 8 things cannot be deleted,, and i cant delete the preview either. i really need help to get it off here. thx.....

Is Limewire still running? You can't delete files that are in use by another program. So, if Limewire is either downloading or uploading these files, you won't be able to delete them.

Look in the system tray (bottom right of screen)...do you see the Limewire Logo? If you see it, it is still running.

i have the same problem i can't delete a file in my search area. it doesn't show up in library files. how can i get rid of this file it's completely glued to my search area. i cancel the file. when i restart computer and go back into limewire file appears again.

Go to your LW library. Click on Incomplete Files. Now delete the file that you don't want from there. Restart LW...it should be gone.

If the incomplete download won't delete, try one of the tools here. Unlocker & DelinvFile are good.
