I went to download a few songs from limewire and absolutely nothing comes up. Itried changing popup setting and filters but nothing. What should I do? Please help!

Do you mean that nothing shows up as downloading, or that no search results show up? If you're not seeing any search results...are you connected? In the bottom left corner you should see green or blue connection bars, not red. If you're connected, check out this thread for advice.

Same Results as above. My daughter went to download and nothing would work. Green bars and counter icon running but no downloads. She is a VERY long time customer as I paid $27.80 to WinMx when it was just LimewireWin.
Have her orgininal password and email address.

LimeWire Pro costs $18.88 & entitles you to free upgrades & email support for 6 months. LW basic is free & always has been.

Whatever we got morphed into limewire and I paid 27.80 for it a long time ago. Meant no Search results and yes everything is set the Max search 5.
Can access library,[very extensive, she's 20 and a student so this is a daily ritual], but nothing else. No search results, just blank page ergo, no downloads.
Worked fine yesterday and nothing in the OS has changed.

Did you delete the preferences folder?

I have no Idea what your are talking about. This is my daughters thing!
There are four blue/green bars that peak from left to right [as in signal strenght] there is NO firewall. It JUST stopped searching for downloads and shows the page with nothing on it. Everything else is fine.

Sorry , there is a brick wall in front of the globe, have no idea how long it's been there. Anti-Spy/Virus is supplied by CA thru ATT DSL, auto updated.

will uninstall and try to reinstall the LW driver. Any tips on saving her library?

LW downloads are saved by default to the HDD. So unless your daughter's changed the location of her saved folder from the default, her downloads should be safe. She can check the saved location by going (in LW) tools > options > saving. The default saved location (I guess you're using Windows) is C:\Documents and Settings\her name\Shared. That's a safe location.

If you're going to reinstall LW, don't uninstall via Add/Remove Programs. Go to start > all Progs > LW & use the uninstall option. Or C:\Program Files\Limewire\uninstall.

You can try uninstalling if you like, but if it's a block by AT&T you (she) might just have to be patient & hope the problem goes away in time.

If you're not familiar with LW, maybe your daughter could get on here & post...might be a bit less confusing for her?
