Default Corrupted File?

My audio file just finished downloading, but upon completion, a box popped up stating that Limewire has detected a corruption in the file. I scanned the file with my Norton Antivirus, and it came up clean. What is this corruption? Should I open the file, or just delete it?

Thanks.

Did you preview the file when it was downloading? A corruption doesn't necessarily mean the file's infected

Play the file & see if it sounds ok

Thanks, it plays fine. I just wanted to make sure that opening it wouldn't release a virus/worm.

I appreciate your help!
