Which player are you using ??
If it's the limewire player that could explain it, it can be very unreliable at times...
Try using a third party player like itunes or WMP...
To make one of these your default player...

To disable LW player go to Tools > Options > Player and untick the box and select apply...

Go to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Right click on one of your MP3 files
Select open with
Select choose program
select your player
and tick the box that says always use this program to open this file type
Select OK

Are you mad, you use p2p with no AV

I would be downloading some security and giving your computer a complete overhaul if I where you...

Here's some good freebies...

Anti-virus:

avast!

AVG free

Avira Antivir

Antispyware etc:

ad-ware __(FREE)

Spybot - Search & Destroy __(FREE)

AVG Antispyware (formerly Ewido)
