I have been using L/W for a while and recently all my downloads are changing to m3u files rather than mp3.

I know it may be obvious but I don't know what has happened and I cannot load the songs on my phone now.

Did you download any new software that became your default for opening the mp3 files. Check by right clicking an mp3 (m3u) file click properties and see what program file opens it. If not the default program you want click change and select the correct program click apply and that should change everything in that folder. I had that problem for jpeg files when I reinstalled Nero because I forgot to uncheck the default boxes.

M3u's are playlist files. They aren't the actual file. They just point your player to the file, like a shortcut.
