Not necessarily...your downloads depend on how many hosts are available, what speed their connections are, and how much bandwidth they're devoting to uploads. You also have to take into consideration that hosts are not uploading files only to you. Their upload bandwidth may be divided between many different people downloading their files.

For example, if you are downloading a file with one host, and that host is on dial-up, you may only be able to get 3kB/s.

actually i knew that but for some reason it didnt register, my frustration is cloudin my judgement!! is there anythin faster than limewire out there? bittorrent clients arent doin amythin for me either, they are still excrutiatingly slow. i reckon its all down to BT. is there anywhere u can download movies of the internet?
