Help,

I have downloaded various tracks on Limewire and now want to move them to my ipod. Can anyone tell me how I transfer music files from my Library in Limewire to my Ipod?

yes, in itunes, under file, click add folder to library, then browse to the limewire dir and click the folder where you have the music saved to or browse to wherever you have saved your downloads to. hope this helps. R...

i don't have an ipod i just have a generic cheap mp3 player, but it worx surprisingly well. When i hook it up to my computer, it reads it as a removable disk and all i do is go to where limewire saves the music files and drag and drop them into the (mp3 player) removeable disk drive

I have an RCA Lyra, and I was able to get some music on it, and now all the sudden, when I plug it into my computer's USB port, it doesn't come up on the computer, normally it shows what drive it's in. I also have a memory card in it, I don't think it could be full already. I only have 51 songs downnloaded onto my Lyra, can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

Have you tried looking in 'My Computer' for a removable disk drive as was suggested?

Yes, and all that I have, even when my Mp3 player is plugged in, is my E: Drive, which is my CD/DVD ROM Drive

have you tried plugging the usb cable into your pc and then connecting the cable to your player and then turn the player on? it may be you might have to reinstall the player's driver if it came with one. or try doing a search for new hardware. what ver windows are you running?

I plug it into the computer first then plug it into the player. No, I don't think I have tried installing new drivers yet. I use Windows XP
