| The Thomson Speedtouch 585 (v6) Modem Hi Abarceo I have just upgraded from my PC from the Speedtouch 510 (v6) to the Speedtouch 585 (v6) modem. The upgrade went relatively smoothly but, at this stage, I don't know yet if my LW Pro will work even though I have port forwarded the modem exactly the same way I configured the 510. I have still yet to install the wireless connections but I intend to use WPA rather than WEP encryption. BTW, hope you have solved your "Direct Connect" problem, let the forum know if you have. | Nope!!! I think it has something to do with my modem (SpeedTouch) or server. I tried to reach SpeedTouch distributor but seemed they don't understand the problem. I'll just wait for the outcome of your setup. I want to try a single port modem to eliminate the posibility of firewalled. |
