nothing ever happens (always need more sources)

I have installed and re installed limewire, carefully configured,used default settings and tried everything i can think of. The program indicates it is working properly searches, finds results,shows contacs, number of files and number of hosts with those files.It just wont download or upload anything. It searches for sources, displays connecting then goes to need more sources. I click on find more sources, it shows connecting again and eventually comes back to needs more sources no matter how many sources it finds that are available,it always goes back to need more sources. I have even let it run for days, but it still wont download anything or upload anything either. I have selected files that show as many as 80 hosts, but it always goes to connecting,waiting in line for,waiting on busy host,to need more sources.EVEN THO IT SHOWS THAT IT IS FULLY CONNECTED. IT STILL WONT DELIVER ,

It sounds like you have yourself some bodgy Ultrapeers that are giving you fake file results...

Try going to your Connections Tab in limewire, if it's not showing up go to Veiw > Show/Hide and make sure the connection tab has a tick next to it...
Then click on the Hosts and remove them and let Limewire search for some more...
(try to take note of the hosts IP numbers if the same ones keep re-appearing add them to your host filter...)

Tools > Options > Filters and select the Host Filter and add these IP's into it and select apply...

I GIVE UP. SEEMS NO MATTER WHAT I DO I STILL JUST CANNOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING ANYMORE. I WAS JUST ABOUT TO UPGRADE TO PRO BUT IT APPEARS THAT THE FAKERS, SPAMMERS, HACKERS,VIRUS SENDERS, ECT. HAVE MADE LIMEWIRE COMPLETELY USELESS.THAT IS A SHAME, BECAUSE I REALLY ENJOYED USING IT, BUT IT DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE.
