Lostsoul7 is flying high
Unhappy Limewire only recognizes .mp3 as "Shared Files"

I have been using Limewire for about a year without problems but recently I have a problem with .mp3 files. I see the full file information in the Limewire search window but when I start downloading the .mp3 it appears in the download window only as "Shared Music".

When the download is complete it appears in my shared folder as an unreadable "Shared Music" file. Sometimes if I add the file extension ".mp3" to the file I can then play it through iTunes... but not always.

I haven't made any big changes to my settings (not that I can remember) but I have gotten a new iPod...

Any suggestions how I can get Limewire to recognize the .mp3 music files normally as it used to do?
