Cant connect pls help

Limewire only shows the first bar green. Says enabling, but thats as far as it goes. It used to work for me. Have used it for a long time.
I am operating on Windows XP
Have Windows Firewall
Using Avast virus protection - it worked before with this.
Lots of hard disk..Lots of Ram...computer is fairly new
Have DSL connection
2wire modem/router
Connection from home.
Most recent versions of Limewire and Java (just re-downloaded both)
ISP provider is Telus
Did the test on www3.limwire.com:6346/ says it worked
There is one wireless user on this connection and two other computers. Everyone else can use the program. Even other users on this computer!
I see the brick wall at the bottom of LW interface
I have turned the firewall off..didnt make a difference
Using UPnP in Limewire

Why would it just stop working? Why would it work for the other users of this same computer when I log off and they log on?

You must be jinxed...lol, just joking...

Try deleting your preference folder and see if that helps you...
