| Hi, I just installed Nortor personal firewall for the Mac and can't for the life of me figure out how to configure it to allow uploads, without just clicking "allow all access" under the "all others" catagory. Can anyone suggest something else? Thanks. --Matthew |

| That works but allows too much. Try adding allow port 6346 to your settings. The exact number to use is given in the LimeWire options under Advanced:Port. If you can't add ports to the firewall you need to enable Advanced mode in the Preferences. In general with firewalls you should deny everything at first and then open up only the ports or IPs necessary for your applications. |
