This is a very strange problem I'm experiencing.

A song will download and say complete, then when I try to launch it I receive the message "Limewire cannot play the file. The file cannot be found."

This is happening to 99% of my downloads and on files with 4 quality stars.

Can someone help me with this as it's absolutely frustrating.

Limewire Version 4.1.4.8

What OS are you using (ie XP, Vista)

If you are using XP see if your files are here...
Go to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Also what media player are you using to play your files ??

I'm using Windows XP.
My downloaded files are saved to My Music.
I use Windows Media Player

Did you find the folder outside of limewire that has your downloaded files in ??
Was all of your music there ??

I used the explore button in Limewire and was able to locate where the file was. Thank you for all of your help.
