If you have LW basic & a cable/dsl connection then 8 is the maximum number of hosts you can download from. If you have a T3 connection, you'll be able to download from 10 hosts.

LW Pro users can download from a couple of extra hosts...10 for a cable/dsl or T1 connection & 14 for a T3.

The host limits are set so that all users, even those with slow connections, have the opportunity to download successfully...to avoid network congestion & endless queueing for files.
