What does "need more sources" mean?

It means that LW can't find any sources (hosts to download from) for the file at the time. You can right click on the file within search results > search more > get more results. Or start a whole new search for the file...that can sometimes kickstart a download. Or click on the result in the download pane & click 'find sources'.
If you're seeing files that sit connecting for ages & then need more sources without ever connecting, they're probably fake files. Always check movie files with Bitzi before download. If a file has heaps of sources but no Bitzi rating, chances are it's a fake.
