Freeze up on the finish up

Almost everytime I download something now, Limewire freezes up while "Verifying file contents." I have to open the Task Manager to shut it down. When I open Limewire again, it works just fine for a while until it begins verifying another file. I don't mind have to pull those couple of extra steps, but I would prefer otherwise. Can anyone help with this issue?

Try deleting LW's preference folder with LW completely shut down. Instructions in this thread points 2 & 3(check both locations): Fixes for Limewire. This will reset all your option settings, so make a note of them first.

If you have multiple d/loads going at the same time, try cutting back to just one at a time and see if it helps. If it does, then increase the number until it starts doing it again.
