By "lock" do you mean that you aren't able to connect?

hey i running windows xp an have limewire pro 4.12.3 aad tool will pop on the not stay on what could it be any help

Try uninstalling and deleting all versions of java from your Add or Remove Programs Control Panel. Then download and install J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 11(use the offline installer): Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11
