I'm trying to download a AVI video. Last night it was at 48% and now it's at 19%. This is the second time it's happened with this file. The first time I just thought it was my mistake. Is this possible?
I didn't think it was possible for someone to just take my progress. Thanks for your help.

I've never seen the problem you write about but it seems that the file could be bogus, for example can you preview this file? You should be able to at 48% complete.

I did preview the file and it was correct. Maybe it's some sort of stream rather then an actual video.
Thanks for the reply, Jim in USA |

Maybe there's some corruption within the file...this link explains a bit: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/155541-post17.html
Try to find a different version of the file. Check it with Bitzi before download -if other people have rated the file then you'll see their opinions of it. Bitzi Web Lookup |

That explains it. I thought maybe I was going nuts or some one put some sort of strange virus on my computer.
Thanks for the info Birdy. |
