I don't think LW is up to speed with the torrent support. Yet
I have the same problem as you. Hope this helps.

It's quite simple. Limewire isn't ready to be used for more than downloading and seeding.

Also if you are on private sites, they may ban you for using Limewire. Check the FAQ on which clients are allowed/disallowed. If Frostwire is listed as disallowed then Limewire is also disallowed. Tracker staff don't differentiate between the two.
