sampras66 if you have more than one hard disk drive, you can change the location of where your downloads go. You can also set particular media types to download to different locations. On both mac & windows I prefered to download to my non-system hard disk drive. See (a) How to Change download location (click on link) (b) See How to Change download location (click on link) (specific for folders / media types) jsjfcc that is an interesting problem. LW's media player does have some limitations. Perhaps you may wish to use your regular audio player instead. To do that, go to LW's menu bar, Tools > Options > Player & disable media player. Next time you open LW your regular audio player will open each time you launch an audio file from LW. BTW LW's media player gets low priority of cpu when you are downloading files, so if LW is busy, the media player can suffer. Try playing those files you had difficulty with just after opening LW. ;) |
I am having a problem downloading music Hi All, This is my first post to the forum. I have had limewire for a while. I had not used it in a while. When I tried to download, nothing happened. I wanted to get the Pro but I want to make sure that I will be able to download once I start paying for the service. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. |
try use LW basic first, configure its properly (if u dunno how to configure it & optimize upload & dload, search forum, read it & learn it) when u satisfy with LW dwload speed & upload speed after u configure it, then u can buy LW Pro...adios..:D |
