having problems with downloads

when i start limewire it says sorry could not start old downloads and all my incomplete downloads are gone from download folder. i unistalled limewire and reinstalled to see if ths would fix problem but it has not. it also shows my saved downloads in red as if they were not there as well. it shows my uploads at zero . what is going on here ???? can anyone help ???
