Phantom Firewall, No Firewall active but

Firstly Vista Sucks, I never had so many problems till now. I was able to access LimeWire with Windows XP but now it tells me I have a Fire Wall Active, this is not right as windows, zone alarm, windows defender, spybot search and distroy avast and spydoctor were not loaded or disabled when I tried to use lime wire. I had no Firewalls active yet lime wire says I do and won't go passed 1 bar how can I resolve this there are to many threads for me to ,check please help

Some Vista users have fixed their connection problem by uninstalling both LW & ZA, then reinstalling LW first & finally reinstalling ZA. Don't uninstall LW via Add/Remove programs (or the Vista equivalent), uninstall from start > all programs > limewire > use the uninstaller there.

Tied you suggestions but it didn't solve the problem which is as long as zonealarm is on my computer LW won't work even with zone alarm control programs menu set to allow LW. The main reason I won't ZA is because it allows me to set Internet lock quickly and easily for when I'm away from my Computer
