Help - Limewire suddenly stopped working!

Limewire used to always work great, but suddenly I can't download anything. When I try to download, it always scans through all the sources, and then says "need more sources". This even happens for the most popular songs. There could be 150 sources, and it would say "15 hosts tried.......55 hosts tried........122 hosts tried......etc" until the end when it says "need more sources". WHY??? It always worked before, but now it's like this.

I'm using the basic version.

RIAA planting false files on the network, for example, the number of sources you quoted, from 55 upwards, would indicate to me that the files were false.

However, that would not account for you always choosing false files, I would suggest, as a possibility, that because of the RIAA (and it's worldwide affiliates) intensified activities people are now becoming scared of sharing their files.

Thanks - I think you're right. Out of the many files that came up, I tried the ones that looked different - maybe only had 1 source, and the file size was slightly different. And then it worked!!!
