stuck at 99%

Hi I am new here but having been using limewire for a wee while.

I have a movie downloading which has been at 99% for 11 hours. I dont want to cancel it in case I lose the whole thing and it was quite difficult to get in the first place.

Can anyone please advise.

Try shutting LW down and restart it. That'll usually prompt those files to finish. If that doesn't work, you should be able to move it to your shared folder, and it'll play fine. You may need to rename it if it's designated as an incomplete file(it'll have a t-xxxxxxxxxxx in the title).

Thanks for your reply. I did restart LW to no avail. I just left it run and eventually it told me there was a corruption in the file. Back to the dawing board after that.

Than it was a fake file some of the files stay a 99% because they are fake.

Thanks for tour reply if it was a fake file why did it show the film in the preview. I'm a bit thick when it comes to these things .
