Pause problems with ver. 4.16.2

I never had a problem pausing file downloads until I installed version 4.16.2. Now if I choose Pause LimeWire freezes, the LimeWire screen turns blank white and that is usually followed by a crash of my whole system (XP Pro with all current updates).

Why would this be?
