I just change to quest dsl and i cant figure out how to get rid of the brick wall on limewire.

I have windows XP.
The modem is a qwest M1000, Broadband. The only firewall is windows. The ISP is qwest. I am connecting from my house. I have LimeWire PRO 4.12.11. I got the message "your test worked". Im not sure about the UPnP Thank You. |

Any luck with this? I have same ISP and same issue w/ Windows or OSX.

I figured out how to portforward my router before, but i cant figure out how to break down the brick wall with qwest.

it's got to be Qwest ISP. see my post from back in June. my connection was working flawlessly and then the 'brick wall' appeared. i've installed various limewire versions on the other 3 computers in this house, and ALL have the brick wall from day 1.
i've followed the directions here for port forwarding, but STILL have had no luck. if you try it and succeed, please let me know! does ANYBODY have any further advice to offer? Last edited by blankenship; August 12th, 2008 at 07:42 AM. Reason: update |
