hey.
i go into my lime wire and a pop up comes up saying Something about my shared file's, and that they are not secure.
however, my main problem is that when i write an artist or song into the audio box and it goes to search, nothing comes up, it doesnt search, how can i fix this?

This is just a guess, but it sounds like one of the files you previously downloaded may contain a virus or something lethal to other peoples computer. Best you thoroughly scan all your downloads with a good anti-virus program before you go much further. It sounds to me that LimeWire is trying to prevent you from spreading the virus any further by not lettinhg you onto the network.
