After initially requesting the download to start, LW will sit at "connecting" status for the longest time (not actually connecting). I put the download on pause and then restart it and it will begin the download, but then the file will reach 99% and then stop completely - it says it's downloading at 0% and NEVER finishes. I've found that if I shut down LW and restart the download AND IF the connection to the file is still available I can complete the download.

This has been going on since the previous release came out.

Is anyone else experiencing this same issue?

I read a few posts and it seems that there are some similar circumstances. It's REALLY starting to **** me off - to the point where I just won't use the program anymore.

I feel your pain. I have been trying to download the new version of limewire since 6pm. It shows that its downloading and then the file states that it is corrupted to download again. The sad part is that it removed the limewire I previously had. Any suggestions.

Make sure you have completely uninstalled the previous version
