Using Direct Connect

My friend and I are using direct connect but nothing is downlaoding. When I try to d/l songs forn her it says needs more sources but she can downlaod songs from me well most of them anyays, any ideas???

interesting. Try using magnet links. Let her give one to you. You use that to connect to her, then browse her files. That's as good if not better than direct connect.

Possible reasons for not being able to download from her: She has no upload slots left, or her upload bandwidth is taken up with other people uploading from her.
If she has restricted bandwidth such as dial up or other where the upload bandwidth is tied to the download bandwidth and effect each other, then that in itself may be a problem is most of her bandwidth is being used for downloading.

She may need to open up more upload slots, and/or possibly greater bandwidth for uploading.

she says her firewall is blocking but I d/l two songs from her but the rest wont work

hmm if she (or you) is not properly firewall configured, I am surprised you two can DC at all. Normally, or in past at least, improperly configured firewalls would prevent two LW's direct connecting. So perhaps she does need to reconfigure her firewall to fully allow LW.
