![]() This threat was supposed to be in another threat, but for strange reasons, my posters kept being deleted. My citation: "I've reinstalled limewire. This time when I downloaded an mp3 KIS reported this virus" I've had this problem of virus infected mp3 files before, then I deleted limewire and re-installed limewire. Before I have had an infection rate of 70 % and now it is set to 100 %. |

![]() Howz It hunter1980 First off...This morning I got a half dozen or more e-mails from the gnutella network saying that hunter1980 had posted a reply on the thread "New Virus On Limewire".After opening up the link on the e-mails (all) I found there was no post from you or anybody else. Can you or someone else please explain this to me ![]() Trojan.Downloader.WMA.Wimad.n is the Trojan that has been a problem for the last few months. You stated you checked it out on line so I assume you are knowledgeable about it ya. As for a 70 and 100 percent download rate of Trojans, I have NEVER heard of that.I myself have downloaded Trojan.Downloader.WMA.Wimad.n 3 times since April when it made it's appearance...One may say I'm a heavy user of Limewire and have been for years (love it)...It's only been in the last few months I've had any trouble with Trojans, some junk files and stuff but not no spyware/virus downloads. I really don't know what to tell you.You must be one really unlucky person ya. ![]() Aloha,BCOOL |

Perhaps I should post a warning about these particular host sites ... to be patient until their posts are checked by a moderator. Posters don't see their post so keep posting out of impatience, despite receiving a warning after posting that their post might be held in a moderation queue until checked. |
