Can't Upload Update to Limewire Pro

I have version 4.12.6 of LimeWire Pro which I just installed on a newly purchased machine.

I have no idea what e-mail address I used at the time I purchased the software. Therefore, I can't log in to support for the upgrade.

The link at the bottom of pro which says Upgrade available, Update? does not work, but takes me to support log in.

What can I do? Since I don't have the e-mail address, I also can't contact support directly.

LW 4.12.6 was released on 07.16.2006 which is two years ago. At that time Pro support only lasted 6 months. So your name will have been removed from their database ages ago.

So is there anything - other than purchasing a new version - I can do to upgrade the existing software?

Does LimeWire have an upgrade policy?

If you buy Pro, you're entitled to free updates for 6 months.

If you buy Extended Pro then you're entitled to free updates for a year.

Rather than going out & buying Pro again, try the latest free basic version first. Heaps of things have changed since 4.12.6...you might find that you don't like the latest version & would rather stick with your old one
