Using a Dell Dimension with XP on Time Warner cable installed the new Pro about a week ago and it worked fine. Last day or so the download speed went from around 170 to maybe 50 kb. I came here and found a lot of complaints upon searching for "slow download". Is something going on?

Is TW limiting download speed? What da ya think?

I clicked on Tools - Options - Download and changed my speed from unlimited to about 10 KB and clicked on Apply and saw my download speed go down even further. Then I increased it to Unlimited (this is using the slide bar) and Apply. The speed returned to normal about 170kb.
