When I search for even the most popular artists(********** and using Limewire genre it appear in box as it always did........however the print is very faint and there is a red x at the left top. Help please! thanks eddie

I have the same exact problem! ive had limewire in the past but i recently had to re-download it. (The basic, free limewire) and it always worked before. now when i go to search ANYTHING it looks like its downloading and i wait forever and nothing shows up. i need my music back!! ive tried reconnecting and everything but i reallly realllyy need some easy to follow advice! Help?!

I have had the exact problem!! I had to re-install Limewire basic, and now it won't search, even for something that used to give me results. Is there anyone out there that knows why??
