okay so i've tried everything. i changed my virus thing and limewire hasn't worked for days. i get one green bar and i have no idea what to do. i downloaded frostwire and that works. any suggestions?
by the way what is the difference between limewire and frostwire?

Try changing the connection or/& listening ports in LW; Tools > Options > Advanced > Firewalls. Also, disable all Performance & OOB searching options in LW; see more about this here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html

FrostWire is based off LW; almost identical. It connects to one more peer than LW Basic does which may help very slightly with searching rarer files (won't make any difference for common files.)
